DAVID ZAUDY
David is a seasoned investor, who over the years, has developed a value-oriented investment style. Before founding Cervantes, David spent seven years in London, where he, amongst other things, was a partner at a global investment advisor. Previous to that, David was employed by the investment bank Pareto Securities in Stockholm, where he set up the equity research function for the real estate and construction sector and worked within corporate finance. Before joining Pareto, David worked at the investment magazine Veckans Affärer as a reporter/analyst and columnist. David has studied business administration at the Lund School of Economics and Management and is a CFA charter holder.
SIMON CORNELL
Simon Cornell is deeply rooted in fundamental financial research and has a strong interest in entrepreneurship and business management. Before founding Cervantes, Simon Cornell spent over four years at the investment bank Carnegie, where he was an equity partner and head of credit research. Before joining Carnegie, Simon Cornell was employed by DNB Bank and Pareto Securities in Stockholm. At Pareto, Simon rose to head of equity and credit research. Simon Cornell holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has studied business administration as well as economics at Stockholm University.
FELIX LINDBERG
Felix has a strong interest in stocks and fundamental company research that resonates well with Cervantes’ investment strategy. As a testimony of his dedication to fundamental investing, Felix visited Berkshire Hathaway’s AGM in Omaha in 2017. Prior to joining Cervantes in May 2022, Felix worked for five years as a private equity analyst at IK Partners and, more recently, The Riverside Company. During this period, he covered the Nordic market with responsibilities primarily including deal sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio company management. Felix holds a BSc in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and has studied mathematics and philosophy at Stockholm University and Lund University, respectively.
ADVISORY BOARD
Advisor and board professional. Numerous positions as CEO in Nordic media companies, including Dagens Industri and Bonnier Broadcasting. Most recently, he was CEO of TV4 Media. During his tenure as CEO, earnings tripled, making TV4 the most profitable broadcasting company in Europe due to a digital transformation strategy. He is currently Chair of the Board at Bonnier News and Bonnier Books and a board member of SF Studios and Uppsala University. Casten holds a BA in Journalism from the Stockholm School of Journalism.
CASTEN ALMQVIST
HELENA HOLMGREN
Currently active as an interim executive and board professional, Helena formerly worked as CEO and CFO at Pricer and, as such, possesses significant operational experience. During her tenure as CEO, revenue nearly tripled, and the company underwent significant transformation, with particular emphasis on enhancing its digital offerings. She currently sits on the board of directors of companies such as Hexatronic, MSAB, Profoto, and Proglove. Helena holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and an MSc in Business Administration from Lund University.
JAN FRIEDMAN
Currently active as a board professional, Jan has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur, having founded and co-founded companies such as Sportamore, tretti.se, and Netonnet, among others. He possesses significant board experience and currently sits on the board of directors of Kjell Group and Vitec Software. Jan holds an MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
